Per-state workers' compensation class codes are the single most state-specific fact on this site, and this page is the coverage ledger: which states have a verified per-industry list on file, for which industries, and how many codes each list carries. Every figure is computed at build time from data/industries.json; nothing here is hand-typed.
Verified coverage
A cell counts only when the industry record holds a non-empty per-state list and a source with a URL and a verification date. Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Utah, Wisconsin meet that bar today.

Coverage by state and industry
The number in each cell is the count of class codes on that industry’s per-state list; a dash means no sourced list is on file for that pairing (the state may use the client’s own classification in practice, which we only record with a source). The codes themselves, with the state-bureau source for each list, are on the industry pages.

How these numbers were computed
- Every figure on this page is computed at build time from
data/industries.json; the page contains no hand-typed numbers. - A state counts for an industry only with a value, a source URL and a verification date on the record — the same rule the quality gate applies everywhere.
- The per-state lists are the state-bureau (or NCCI) codes verified in that state’s published list; the source link on each list names the document and its verification date.
- Empty pairings are gaps in coverage, not zeros: they mean no sourced list is on file for that state and industry.
