This site publishes sourced information about PEO providers and state regulation. It is not legal, tax or insurance advice, we are not a party to any agreement you sign with a provider, and the accuracy of every field is stated on the page it appears on.
What this site is
Peolet publishes comparison information about professional employer organizations, and introduces buyers to providers they select. Use of the site is free.
Peolet is not a PEO, an insurance producer or a broker. We do not run payroll, administer benefits, place insurance, or co-employ anyone. Nothing here creates a relationship between you and Peolet beyond your use of this site and any enquiry you choose to submit.Not advice
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting or insurance advice. PEO arrangements involve employment law, tax and insurance questions that turn on facts we do not know about your business. Get advice from someone licensed to give it before you sign anything.
Accuracy
We publish each factual field with its primary source and the date we checked it, and we show unverified fields as unverified rather than filling them in. That is a real commitment and it is also the limit of what we promise: regulation changes, providers change their terms without telling us, and a page verified in March can be wrong in April.
Check anything you are about to act on against the source we link, and tell us when we are wrong.
Your enquiries
When you request provider matches, your details go to the providers you explicitly select and to nobody else. What happens to them after that is governed by our agreements with those providers and by their own policies. Privacy sets out what we hold and for how long.
Our commercial relationships
We are paid a flat, rate-carded referral fee by some providers listed here. It does not vary between providers and it is not an input to any score or ranking. How we make money states this in full, and the methodology makes it checkable.
Third-party sites
We link to statutes, agency pages, registries and provider websites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content.
Liability
We provide this site as-is. Decisions about your payroll, benefits, insurance and employment arrangements are yours, and the consequences of them sit with you and with the providers you contract with — not with a comparison site.
Changes
We will re-date this page when it changes, and it will be reviewed by counsel before it stops being a draft.
