About Peolet
Peolet is an independent comparison service for US employers evaluating professional employer organizations (PEOs). We publish sourced provider and state regulatory data, and we introduce buyers to pre-vetted providers for a flat fee. We are not a PEO, a broker, or an insurance producer, ensuring our data and analysis remain unbiased.
Our Mission and Purpose
Choosing a PEO is a complex decision that involves handing over critical HR functions like payroll tax filings, benefits administration, and often workers' compensation coverage. The contract is often opaque, and the information needed to make an informed choice — certification status, state registrations, true administrative costs, and exit fees — is scattered and difficult to verify.
Peolet's mission is to centralize this data, publish it with clear source attribution, and keep it current, empowering employers to make confident, data-driven PEO decisions.
Our Independence and Accountability
We are not a professional employer organization. We do not co-employ anyone, we do not run payroll, we do not administer benefits, and we hold no CPEO certification or ESAC accreditation of our own. Where you see those credentials on this site, they belong to the providers we report on, and each one links directly to the official registry entry it came from.
We are also not an insurance producer or broker, and we take no commission tied to insurance or benefits placement. Our commercial model is transparent and based on flat fees for introductions, not on the value of the contracts you sign.
Editorial Standards and Review
Editorial content on Peolet is produced by our in-house editorial team and reviewed by credentialed HR or benefits practitioners before publication. Pages awaiting this rigorous review are clearly marked and are excluded from search engine indexes until the review is complete.
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity. We are currently recruiting a credentialed lead author (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent) to further strengthen our editorial oversight. Until that role is filled, pages covering complex tax, insurance, and regulatory compliance topics will remain unpublished rather than be released without appropriate expert review.

We believe in full transparency. A comparison site that does not disclose the verification status of its dataset is asking you to assume it's all correct. We deliberately make our data verification numbers visible so you can trust the information you find on Peolet.
